Are you a collaborative team player with experience in the defense industry looking for a new challenge on the cutting edge of EO sighting system technology?
We are looking for an individual to expand our customer base and drive sales for our Rifle Sights Mission Area. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record selling products and solutions primarily directed to United States and allied governments. Familiarity and experience with soldier systems and optical devices, particularly rifle sights, is preferred. Regular international travel is required and candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Candidates should be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Support the global Business Development as the product and market subject matter expert for the Rifle Sights Mission Area.
  • Responsible to identify, develop and win new business to meet or exceed annual bookings targets.
  • Leverage your experience and relationships to nurture long-term, strategic customer relationships.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to align mission area strategy and product management teams to customer requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations of products/services including at live-fire events, trade shows, conferences and seminars globally.
  • Providing advanced training and support for the business development team
  • Conduct pre-sale and post-sale support activities that involves identification of customer product needs.
  • Provide support for activities related to product sales, including customer training. Provides technical advice regarding products to customers.
  • Participates in and provides feedback on the preparation of operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure quotes are accurate and responsive to customer needs.
  • Establish and expand relationships with channel partners and resellers
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts
  • Coordinate and host sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Perform forecasting for respective channel, customer group, or territory. Manages various channels and geographies to increase product awareness and education.
  • Participate in internal meetings to coordinate sales efforts with across the business.
  • Call on potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services specific to Raytheon ELCAN.
  • Provide customer feedback to inform the product development and go to market strategies
  • Conduct market research and make recommendations for product pricing.

  • Minimum of 8 years of applicable product, market experience.
  • Technical background in engineering, analytics or similar field is beneficial.
  • Experience with and understanding of government procurement policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills. Ability to work within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience developing winning proposals.
  • Experience developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Current SECRET Security Clearance or TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • Combination of commercial, US Government and/or military experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years experience
  • Master's Degree and 6 years experience
  • Associate's Degree and 10 years experience
  • High School Diploma and 16 years experience
