We are seeking a candidate to join the LM400 Assembly, Integration, and Test team as an electrical test engineer. In this role you will participate in the planning and execution of electrical floor operations for programs using the LM400 bus platform.
As a Systems Integration and Electrical Test Engineer, you will:
- Develop and define test cases, test configurations, and test events for space vehicle qualification, acceptance, and production test phases
- Perform and lead as a test engineer responsible for the development and execution of test scripts and test procedures during all satellite test phases including pre- and post-environment system performance tests and environmental tests
- Review and analyze telemetry and test data, ensuring generated data accurately verifies space vehicle functionality and meets space vehicle performance requirements
- Document test anomalies found during test execution and support troubleshooting to resolve
- Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with support organizations
- Support Systems Engineering and Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) in the verification of test requirements
- Work within a fast-paced production operations environment that may include 24/7 support and travel to support full lifecycle operations
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Willingness to work overtime & travel, supporting off-shifts and weekends as needed.
• Ability to obtain a government-issued TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Test Engineer (TE) and/or Certified Test Conductor (CTC) with experience in space vehicle integration and test
• Experience in space vehicle test operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and maintain process discipline in a dynamic environment
• Excellent technical writing, verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to achieve consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Proficiency with a scripting language (preferably Python) to support automated test script development, debugging, and execution
• Experience with electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators
• Experience working with Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) that support space vehicle testing
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or Cameo
• Active Top Secret clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
