Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Administrator to join our Information Technology team supporting the Air Force Special Operations (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract.

We are a dynamic and diverse team on a recurring multi-year program.
Here you will work with a multifunctional team of experts leading the way in flight training system sustainment and development. In this fast-paced environment, you'll draw on your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to solve problems and be a contributing member of a highly skilled Agile program.

You will be focusing on installation of servers and clients, configuring operating systems, services, applications, storage, virtualization, and custom software in support of test, training, and cybersecurity evaluations of DoD systems, and associated computing environments.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience automating, installing, configuring, administrating, patching, and security hardening COTS and open-source applications, including operating systems

• Experience performing regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.

• Understanding of server administration, server architecture, specifications, software, networking, virtualization

• Experience with Domain architecture including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Domain Trust, and file share management

• Experience with common industry operating systems such as Windows, Server 2008-19, Linux, Solaris, RHEL, & CentOS

• Understanding with implementation for Advanced Computer Security Directives and Requirements (e.g., Risk Management Framework (RMF)), STIG's

• Working knowledge virtualization technologies including VMWare ESXi VSphere/Horizon and Microsoft Hyper-Visor

• The ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

• Current/Active CompTIA Security+ Certification. (Note: Active certification would need to be obtained prior to establishing a start date.)
Desired Skills:
• System administration experience in DoD environments, including requirements analysis, design, hardware evaluation, configuration, and test of custom software and configurations.

• Certifications: CompTIA Network + and other relevant certifications, Microsoft, Linux, Oracle, and VMWare.

• Scripting skills/experience (including Python, Linux shell, Java, PowerShell +, then Java/C++/Perl for other I&T)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
