What you'll do:

Under limited supervision, this senior level database administrator manages and maintains all production and non-production databases. Responsible for standards, design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. Will create detailed architecture and support documentation that can be used by other team members. Performs backup and recovery, configures database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. This position reviews database access (SOX/PCI) and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. Works with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues associated with database and applications associated to databases.
