What You Will Be Doing
As the Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for making strategic decisions to operate and control inventory, including managing suppliers, repair facilities, and customer locations. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing capacity requirements, and developing effective solutions to support site logistics management.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Ensuring program export compliance for ITAR and Commercial shipments
•Analyzing capacity requirements and developing effective solutions to support best-practice site logistics management
•Planning, implementing, and controlling procedures for the efficient and effective transportation and storage of controlled assets
•Ensuring compliance with state and federal Radioactive Material Regulations as Deputy Radioactive Safety Officer (RSO)
•Providing oversight for site Hazmat requirements, including transportation, storage, handling, and training requirements
•Providing estimates for future business and developing and monitoring metrics

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience
• Candidate should have good written and oral skills
• High proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be a self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Inventory Management, Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving
• Awareness and/or experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Asset Management System / Supply Chain Management knowledge
• Basic understanding of U.S. Army supply operations and regulations
• Prior military experience
• Prior internship or equivalent working experience with DoD Contractor or Government agency
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
