Responsibilities

• Advise marketing and product teams on compliance with marketing, advertising and privacy laws
• Draft and negotiate various agreements, including in the areas of marketing, talent, influencer, endorsement, sponsorship and trademark license
• Counsel on various promotional initiatives, including sweepstakes and contests, promotional events, digital, text and email marketing, social media and membership/loyalty programs
• Negotiate and draft vendor, supplier and other related agreements
• Develop agreement templates
• Support the company’s privacy compliance and risk mitigation efforts, related to both customers and employees

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in-house or at a firm providing legal support in the areas of marketing and advertising
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the Marketing, Technology and business teams
• Knowledge of adtech and SaaS a plus
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba for contract management a plus
• Experience in a retail environment a plus
