Our Senior Human Resources Director, Commercial role will function as the strategic business partner to the team reporting into our Executive Vice Present, Chief Commercial Officer. This client group represents over 1,000 corporate associates globally. The Senior HR Director will partner with the Commercial leadership team to drive our strategic people agenda to support the growth, learning and development of our talent, employee engagement, and organizational health and transformation, including change leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives related to the future of work, organizational capabilities, learning and talent development strategy, talent pipeline and retention.
  • Leverage internal and external data to create organizational insights and support decision-making.
  • Support annual people agenda initiatives (Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Executive Development Review, Open Enrollment, etc.)
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to senior leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continual improvements in efficiency and productivity of department.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of HR professionals.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Minimum 10 years experience as an HRBP, ideally in a global, fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • A Certificate or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior highly desired; HRCI or SHRM certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and at varying levels in the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational design and planning, organizational development, employee relations and employee engagement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Executive level presence; comfort with ambiguity and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Able to analyze data and create a narrative to drive organizational transformation.
  • Able to drive, set and accomplish goals for self and team
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity, agility, confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Able to “roll up your sleeves” and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Occasional travel could be required.
