F-35 Mods & Upgrades Program Management Staff - Level 4
The position is on the F-35 Mods & Upgrades On-Ramp team, responsible for leading planning and pursuit of Mods Reliability and Maintainability Improvement Proposals (RMIP) through to contract award. The candidate will be able to take on the responsibility of leading up Change Requests, Engineering Change Proposals, or special projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
Areas of focus can include:
• Coordinates the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, Supplier SOWs, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Participates in customer contact for program activities, program review sessions.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications, and Control Account Management.
• Candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated solutions to high-level technical, programmatic, and contracting concerns.

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated Project Management experience
• Experience in DoD Contracting or Negotiating
• Experience with the use of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Experience with establishing and developing direct customer relationships
• Experience with Lean or Operations Management
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated Program Management on complex programs involving Department of Defense systems
• Ability to handle a highly dynamic environment with competing requirements
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train program managers and team members
• Experience with avionics development, production programs, or depot operations.
• Experience with the modification and/or CR process
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Leadership Experience
• Articulate in both oral and written communications
• Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leadership • Articulate in both oral and written communications
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
