Foot Locker currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Industrial Engineer. This critical position develops process improvements, identifies opportunities for cost savings and enhancements, partners with other departments to successfully implement those changes, analyzes data, performs time studies, builds and maintains standards, and makes updates and changes as needed in the labor management system.

This position will be a proactive leader in the ongoing development of internal and external strategic partnerships to successfully implement and maintain labor standards, develop a culture of continuous improvement, develop innovative solutions to problems, and improve operational key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and implement labor standards in Manhattan’s WMOS Labor Management.
  • Partner with the Operation team to drive associate performance and department productivity.
  • Develop innovative projects to improve productivity in the Distribution Center facilities.
  • Change management champion for Foot Locker's supply chain who develops relationships and bring all parties along in the process.
  • Analyze strategic data from multiple data sources finding trends and opportunities in the data to drive improvements and track results.
  • Travel:Less than 50%.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in continuous improvement or industrial engineering discipline.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field.
  • Experience writing and developing SOPs collaboratively with operations and presenting those to associates and management.
  • Must be proficient in labor standards (WMoS labor management experience strongly preferred), MOST (or similar system), and labor management software.
  • Work experience in a distribution, production, or manufacturing environment (retail distribution experience preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Distribution Center operations, processes, and material flow methodologies.

*Open to candidates that are within 2 hours traveling (plane or car) distance to our Junction City, KS Distribution Center.
