Summary
The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing therapy services, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner to patients including assessment, treatment program planning, and implementation related documentation and communication. Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum: Bachelor of Science Degree
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience
Experience desired, but not required
Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Florida license as an Occupational Therapist from the Agency of Health Care Administration’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Current AHA BLS CPR card
