The Inventory Control Financial Analysts primary responsibilities includes the oversight of the day-to-day inventory control functions for the Camp Hill and any new Distribution Centers. The role will be responsible for identifying inventory discrepancies using the “hit List” reporting tool, leading the research efforts to resolve variances and providing shortage projection reporting. The position will be the “hands on” lead for root cause research aimed at reducing the occurrence of discrepancies through partnership with the DC operations leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research of weekly inventory hit list variances for the Camp Hill future distribution centers.
  • Ensure that all necessary inventory adjustments are processed to correct variances that are identified.
  • Generate and distribute weekly shortage projections for distribution centers.
  • Lead preparation and reconciliations associated with physical inventory processes.
  • Understand and adhere to all SOX controls and requirements.
  • Identify areas of risk or opportunity and implement new internal controls to improve service center inventory variances. Monitor results and compliance.
  • Ensure that inventory control processes and policies are followed and understood.
  • Create and modify Standard Operating Procedures for processes involving inventory control when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments to drive process improvements and identify inventory nodes and disposition.
  • Coordinate proper inventory cut off for annual inventory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical school required.
  • At least one year related experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous SOX controls experience preferred.
