SAP NS2 BTP Developer Subject Matter Expert - Newtown Square / Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer SME to join our team. This technical position requires hands-on development experience and involves designing, implementing, and customizing SAP BTP solutions to help businesses transform their operations, integrate systems, and leverage data for strategic advantage. This position is a hybrid role based out of our Newtown Square, PA office and will require going into our office at least once a week, sometimes more depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:
- Architect and design BTP solutions that meet business needs, focusing on integration, data management, analytics, application development, and AI.
Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or participate in the implementation of SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP AI Core.
- Configure and customize SAP BTP components to align with client-specific requirements.
- Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure services running on BTP by ing best practices throughout the lifecycle of the release. Implement containerization strategies for efficient software development using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop fully automated pipelines for software delivery using CI/CD tools including Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions.
- Develop BAS extension & Visual Studio code extensions for Customers and Partners to support migration tools.
Client Advisory and SME Guidance:
- Advise clients on best practices for leveraging SAP BTP for digital transformation.
- Conduct workshops to identify business processes that can be enhanced or automated using BTP.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP BTP implementations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP BTP solutions.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Train client teams on new SAP BTP functionalities and features.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and expertise with peers.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of the latest SAP BTP developments, including updates to SAP Data Sphere, etc.
- Suggest and implement innovative uses of BTP to drive business value.

Education and Experience:

BA or BS in a Science Field.:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
Proven experience in at least two SAP BTP service areas (e.g., Integration, Analytics, Data Management, Application Development).
Knowledge of open standards like Cloud Foundry, ABAP, and/or Kyma runtime.
Experience with SAPUI5 and/or HTML5 or other Front-end Web Application development frameworks and Full Stack Web IDE.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA development, particularly with Fiori App experience, is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration with BTP.
Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform tools, SAP Build, and SAP's low-code/no-code solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and consultative skills.
Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Certifications: SAP BTP certifications are highly desirable.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 91900 - 156300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
