District Leader (CO/NM) - maurices

The District Leaders is responsible for the overall success of their District and is responsible for cultivating an environment of genuine customer connection, building strong teams, and directing all activities required to drive sales and maximize results in the districts.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Sales and Profit Performance and directing activities required to achieve sales, inventory, and payroll

Serve as Brand Ambassador and ensure a customer centric culture across all channels

Ensures the continued vibrancy of the district through Talent Acquisition, Development and Management

Maintains operationally strong stores and plans and coaches stores to execute with excellence

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Retail Management experience required with multi-store supervisory experience preferred.

Must have a strong interest in fashion and product knowledge.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Business and financial acumen including strong analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and challenge teams to achieve results.

Strong problem solving/conflict resolution skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

Diligence and the ability to persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks.

Basic skills in Microsoft Office.

Unique Working Conditions:
Extensive travel required (70%).


Physical Requirements:
Able to reach, push, pull, stand, squat and bend for up to 4 hours or longer as necessary.
Able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
Able to operate computerized register system.
Able to move or handle merchandise throughout the store weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
