Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures. Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures. Must also be able to drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working. Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs. Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders. Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action. Performs other duties as assigned. No relocation assistance provided. Preforms corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years or more of demonstrated hands on experience in aviation, manufacturing, and/or assembly.

Experience reading blueprints and interpreting specifications and/or technical publications.

Experience with using basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools), as well as perform, install specialty fasteners, conduct complex rework/repairs, and use precision instruments.

High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
2+ years hands-on structural F-16 experience in aviation, manufacturing, or assembly setting.

Proficient with F-16 Blueprint interpretation and technical specifications.

Ability to perform complex repairs and/or tooling set ups for stacked materials/parts.

Ability to execute build plans for structural assembly and systems installations with limited Guidance.
Able to use a variety of precision measuring equipment: For example scales, micrometers, depth gauges.

Structural/Maintenance integrity driven ideology.

Ability to work and excel in an agile work environment.

1 year experience leading, training, and/or mentoring other level employees.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
