Position Summary:
Provides quality general maintenance support of the facilities, Boilers, electrical, HVAC, utilities and equipment components in support of the hospital-wide safety and utility management program. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/License/Certificates:
- High School education or equivalent.
- Desired: Six (6) years or more experience in a hospital environment with technical training.
- Four (4) years of college or technical training in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and additional trade training EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
Minimum Experience/Skills: Five (5) years experience in institutional environment, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, carpentry and painting is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires lifting of 50 lbs. maximum.
- Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent use of stairs both up and down, along with climbing ladders, is required.
- Perceiving the nature of sound by ear for both communication of problems and diagnostics associated with pending equipment failure.
- Must have the ability to detect differences in color.
