The Procurement Analyst- Construction Procurement Standards will be responsible for working with Sr. Manager of Global Procurement Standards to create value added reporting and analytics in support of establishing global synergies. Tasks include supplier onboarding, managing supplier agreements, creating weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting, and executing buying functions to support the Construction Project schedule as needed. This position will also support non-merchandise cost savings initiatives across the Retail Divisions and help execute procurement-specific programs as a liaison between Strategic Sourcing and Store Development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and/or cost reduction via learning the functional business.
• Manage projects by preparing, issuing and evaluation RFI/RFP requests. Support in negotiation, quality, and delivery items
• Developing value-added reporting that assists in establishing global procurement standards
• Create spend-analytics for identification of profit improvement opportunities
• Develop other reporting as needed.
• Procurement of materials, equipment, and fixtures to support the construction tracking schedule as needed
• Generation and distribution of purchase orders to suppliers as required by production plans as needed
• Coordination and effective communication with other business partners regarding production delivery issues and requirements as needed
• Partner with cross function teams to align on objectives to meet individual business needs
• Assist special projects for the team on an as needed basis
• Become proficient in systems (Power BI, PowerPoint, SAP Ariba, and others)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Related Field and two years of related work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform efficiently in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
• Results oriented with strong project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take direction, multi-task and manage shifting priorities
