We currently have an opportunity for a Justice District Sales Leader - Kansas/ Missouri (District Manager) - Justice to join our team located at our Field Mgmt-District 6773-Justice.Position Overview:
The District Sales Leader (DSL) supervises and guides all operational aspects of 13-20 stores operations (sales, merchandising, operations, and talent management) while enhancing productivity of multiple store staff. Responsible for hiring, staffing and training all Store Sales Leaders (SSL). Demonstrates company values and creates a motivating environment. Approaches work with positive intent and has the ability to manage proper communication and interaction with associates and customers.
Reports to Regional VP West.
This role can be based in Kansas City area.
Job Duties:
- Organizes and sets priorities for Store Sales Leaders that focus on achieving financial and operational goals.
- Provides feedback to Store Sales Leaders on financial performance, customer service, and visual presentation within each store.
- Manages the selection and development of each store leadership team member.
- Provides analysis of business performance to Regional Sales Leader and Home Office partners as requested.
- Participates in stretch assignments and pilot programs as directed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- 5-7 years Store Sales Leader experience
- Ability to perform duties as described
- Ability to travel with overnight stays 30 - 60% of work time
- Ability to reach for, push, pull and/or move merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds
- Ability to move throughout the store continually for periods of up to 8 hours with fifteen minute breaks and meal periods, as required by state law
- Ability to manage proper communication and interaction with customers and associates at all times, including stressful and unpleasant situations
- Ability to read documents and computer screens, and write and count in order to accurately complete company documentation and tasks
- Ability to operate cash register by depressing keys and remembering keying sequences and policies
- Ability to work various hours/days of the week
