Location Requirement: This role is based out of our Newtown Square, PA office and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to be on-site three days per week in alignment with team and business needs.
What You'll Do:
As a People & Culture Local Services consultant you will act as a Functional Specialists providing unique country expertise to deliver best in class experiences across the employee lifecycle while at the same time driving operational excellence to ensure compliance.
- Design / Administer HR Services:
- Implement and manage HR programs, policies, and practices using both global models and local on-site support.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR service areas to address employee inquiries effectively.
- Ensure detailed record-keeping of HR activities and maintain high-quality HR data within various systems.
- Employee Lifecycle Support:
- Evaluate and validate local HR policy compliance for various functions.
- Deliver a wide array of processes in-country / onsite including Onboarding, Contractual Changes, Benefits Operations, Time & Absences, and End of Employment.
- Provide 1:1 consultancy on local HR policies, acting as a second-level case manager for policy queries.
- Manage non-digital employee files and documentation as per legal requirements.
- Organizational and Operational Support:
- Support SAP’s business development activities like restructurings and location consolidations.
- Play a key role in M&A projects, facilitating post-merger integration.
- Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs, using feedback to enhance service efficiency and processes.
- Lead / Support roll-outs of new processes and tools, coordinating with IT on updates and training.
- Proactively and consistently raise process improvement opportunities from the local view.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between local and global HR service teams.
- Support partnerships with HR Directors, People Relations, Total Rewards, and external vendors.

- Experience and Expertise:
- Strong competence with HR tool and procedures,
- Independent project management skills with the ability to assess risks and ensure timely project delivery.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills:
- Ability to communicate clearly across functions, providing constructive feedback and ensuring understanding within defined policies.
- Proven ability to build collaborative work relationships with HR counterparts and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation:
- Experience in driving process improvement initiatives.
- Proactive approach in enhancing HR services for better efficiency and compliance.
- Career Level and Accountability:
- Proven track record of working independently within defined processes to deliver project outcomes.
- Experience handling projects of moderate complexity with regular reporting to management.
Preferred candidate has prior experience in HR service delivery

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 69,800-152,300 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
