The SAP Digital Sales Executive (DSE) role reports into Revenue Management Group within the Digital Hub, and functions as a d service extension of all cloud Sales teams. The role will focus on providing coverage in each segment for Software License sales by generating new pipeline through…
- Targeting current customers exceeding license entitlement
- targeting uncovered install base accounts for upsell / cross-sell opportunities.
DSE’s will be expected to execute cross-sell/upsell opportunities from acquisition through closing stages by utilizing and directing resources from Operations, Pre-Sales, Industry, Pricing & Contract teams. DSE’s will also expected to participate as a valuable member of existing account VAT as needed.
DSE’s will need to be able to build an effective network/community both internally across Sales, Service, Support, Development and Global teams; and externally with significant customers and partners. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable strategies, business cases, negotiation strategies and implementation plans. This gives them a very good exposure to the business and will become future potential candidates for transition into Customer facing roles within SAP.
Demand Generation
- Be able to provide effective territory planning and execution, covering all routes to market
- Generate and Qualify leads through system reporting, contract reviews and Account team coordination
- Regularly review lead pipeline and progression. Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to Sales Leadership on deal progression
Data entry in the IC Web Client/ CRM system
- Document all lead/opportunity management activities using the PowerBi & Harmony systems correctly, work together with manager/expert as necessary
Training & Enablement
- Participate in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills
- Be active part of either classroom, eLearning, virtual classroom or mentor-lead activities
- Complete and qualify on all Level 1 enablement activities within 3 months and Level 2 activities in 12 months.
Work experience and personal skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Field Sales, Inside Sales or Demand Management
- Self-starter and numbers driven with strong drive for success
- High volume activity working environments
- Business level English
- Bachelor degree and/or equivalent business experience

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 88100 - 197900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
