Oncology group isrecruiting a Hematology/Oncologist due to increased patient volumes. The position will join a team of 3 skilledoncologist at the Oak Ridge clinic location. Highlights include Progressive patient support programs such as disease-specificnurse navigators, genetic counseling, clinical research, cancer outreachservices, regional patient housing, and nutrition and social services,Disease-specific tumor conferences and multi-disciplinary clinics, support by areferral base of over 300 providers. Hospitalists routinely admit patients. Residency trained, board certified oncology pharmacists. The cancer center has a legacy of providinghigh quality cancer care in East Tennessee. Offering some of the area’s mostadvanced cancer diagnostic services and treatments, including advanced PETimaging exams, breast tomosynthesis, Gamma Knife, and a strong clinicalresearch program. Physicians are supported by a team of nurse navigators,dietitians, genetics counselors, clinical trials specialists, physicists,pharmacists, therapists, technologists, oncology nurses, social workers andcounselors to provide comprehensive patient care. The cancer center has sixcomprehensive cancer centers throughout the region for the residents of EastTennessee.
