The Admin II-Shortage Control is responsible for investigating potential receiving, shipping and inventory issues. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows, including MS Word and Excel. This position must be able to meet the certification requirements for machines that lift the operator 6 feet and higher - including all OSHA and harness regulations. Only high rising machines are utilized for this position.

This position works Monday throught Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The pay range is $12.50 to $15.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing and problem-resolution related to perpetual inventory accuracy.
  • Coordination and inventory control of warehouse returns
  • Research and reconcile lost and unlocated inventory
  • The ability to recognize shortage opportunities and help in developing the needed controls to prevent shortage.
  • Auditing of WM to Host for receiving, shipping and inventory issues.
  • Analyze WM and Host functions to correct receiving and inventory issues.
  • Utilize databases, WM, host and ARS to determine receiving/shipping quantities.
  • Support the efforts of resolving Bad Status Cartons and ensuring proper manifest and billings to stores.
  • Monitor the suspense report to identify potential receiving errors.
  • Record and report all receiving/inventory issues.
  • Maintain reports used to compute results of corrections.
  • Maintain communication with all departments and A/P department at FSC.
  • Research POD’s sent by the A/P department.
  • Maintain the POD Research database.
  • Extensive research in matching manifests to receivers.
  • Physically verify receiving discrepancies.
  • Verifying correct status in WM for verified receivers.
  • Maintain Receiving Operational Audit Tracking sheet.
  • Offer training and assistance to other departments to ensure the education needed to comply with proper receiving/shipping procedures and prevention of shortage.
  • Ability to operate power equipment (order picker).
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Comply with all safety regulations of the Service Center.
  • Must adhere to all policies and procedures of the Service Center.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Work with co-workers in a professional, respectful, cooperative, and courteous manner.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A comprehensive knowledge of computers and extensive experience in Windows, including MS Word and Excel, is required. The Admin II-Shortage Control must possess basic language skills, math skills and reasoning ability (as defined below) in order to fulfill position requirements
