Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Overview
Team Edition Apparel, a division of Foot Locker, Inc, is looking for a quality focused experienced individual who is willing to work on their feet all day, have a great attitude, be an excellent teammate and have near perfect attendance. This person will join a skilled team of professionals in servicing our equipment and facility.
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday - 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Starting Pay Rate is negotiable based on experience - $16 to $22 per hour
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing support in general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and the upkeep of the entire facility, with responsibilities to include installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following functions:
This position requires a basic/general understanding of all technical areas and an intermediate/overall understanding in at least one (1) technical areas (specified below), including expected lengths of time in which repairs should be completed. This includes general troubleshooting, as well as routine repairs. This position is responsible for providing additional support to the maintenance department in more complex functions. This position also requires the ability to read, understand and complete plan modifications and schematics. Technical Areas: Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing, Fabrication and HVAC.
- *Maintain working schedule of Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm
- *Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- *Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisor or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- *Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- *Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- *Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- *Diagnose and replace malfunctioning electrical components such as transformers, motors, lighting, fixtures, relays, switches, and position sensing devices.
- *Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- *Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment. Fabricate and repair counters, benches, and partitions and other wooden structures.
- *Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- *Properly follows company policies and OSHA safety procedures.
- Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Candidates must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs.
