Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience
Required: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Occupational Therapist Level II.
Preferred: Clinical experience in variety of settings, Hand Therapy, Ergonomics, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency
Certifications
NEW GRADUATES : Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation
ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license
BLS-Obtained thru approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network
