Supply Chain Technology is a HOT Space right now and we are adding this NEW position to help us continue our transformationhere at Foot Locker. We are working on a large BOPIS (Buy Online and Pick Up in Store), improving our Distribution Center network and implementing new systems. As our new Sr. Technical Project Manager you be leading the way with our DC expansion plans and implementing a new WMS (Manhattan version 2019 WMOS), while building foundational standards globally. After, the Manhattan implementation you will be leading other strategic and high priority IS&T projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans to minimize cost and implementation risks.
  • Provide communication, documentation and everyday management of projects, while ensuring that all risks, time-lines, budget and scope are managed.
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control and close projects.
  • Perform quality assurance and risk management.
  • Project budget and scheduling estimation and management.
  • Contribute to the overall Project Management Community of Practice.
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage internal, external and third party relationships.
  • Conduct status review meetings with team members and clients.
  • Oversee user testing and provide reports and documentation on project stage and progress.
  • Work closely with Project Manager during all phases of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years related work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a project management role.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Manhattan Warehouse ManagementSoftware experiencewith at least 3 full life-cycleWMOS implementations highly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work ina fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Experience with vendor sourcing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Scrum Certification and/orPMP Certification a plus.
