We currently have an opportunity for a Front-end Developer to join our team located at our Corporate Columbus-catherines-Columbus, OH 43219.Position Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated Front-end Developer who desires to contribute to a variety of site experiences and landing pages across lanebryant.com, cacique.com, and catherines.com. You will work closely with our designers to bridge the gap between design and implementation - taking an active role on both sides in defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What you’ll do:
- Translate requirements and design comps into fully functioning HTML/CSS/JS for lanebryant.com, cacique.com, and catherines.com
- Code, test, debug, and implement within a content management system
- Continuously look for ways to improve site performance, technical SEO, and accessibility of content
- Build and maintain reusable responsive code libraries
- Collaborate with designers to analyze requests to enhance, maintain, and transform user interfaces

Qualifications:
- 5+ years developing and maintaining front-end code and frameworks
- A solid portfolio of quality, hand-coded responsive web projects (please include links to github, codepen, etc in your cover letter or resume)
- Expert knowledge of responsive web design
- Experience with hand-coding HTML using semantic markup, and CSS layout
- Experience using JS Frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
- Experience defining and maintaining atomic design systems
- Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
- Familiarity with agile development and best practices
- Familiarity with design software such as Sketch
- eCommerce development experience a plus
