Echo Tech PRN Days Position Summary:
Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures.
Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
THE ECHO TECH PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Education Required: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School
Experience Required: 6 months in clinical setting
Preferred: 2 years
Certifications
Required: Registry eligible and BLS.
Preferred: RDMS or RDCS
