Budget Support Specialist

Adecco is assisting in the search for an organized Budget Support Specialist in Frankfort, KY. This is a long-term opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. This is a 1st shift opportunity, with pay ranging $18-$20 an hr. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities for this Budget Support Specialist position include but are not limited to:

• Provides budget support in the maintenance of financial system processes to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines; Oversees billing processes and matters related to projects and/or grants; and performs other duties as required.

• Assists Budget and Fiscal staff by monitoring eMARS records of revenues and receivables, general procurement, and payables to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Provides technical reporting support and creates ad-hoc queries to assist in daily financial operations for the Department of Juvenile Justice.

• Receives and researches financial issues within eMars and corrects as necessary. Informs supervisor of issues and makes recommendations on a solution.

• Attends Division meetings and completed trainings as necessary.

Qualifications for this Budget Support Specialist position include:

· Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of professional experience in statistical analysis, accounting, auditing, planning, or a related field

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) & eMars

· Self-motivated

· Excellent attendance record

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
