Available Schedules:

Full-Time Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday and every other Saturday 7:00am-5:00pm

Starting Wage: $13.75/hour

This position is located in our Wausau, Wisconsin Distribution Center. Employee health is our #1 priority, so we are providing on-site social distancing, PPE and sanitizing stations.

Responsibilities

  • Gains an understanding of machine/system processes and utilizes knowledge to accurately troubleshoot any issues that may arise in a timely manner.
  • Performs general and specific maintenance on machine daily as well as clean surrounding area of debris and clutter.
  • Manage machine and inductors to meet minimum standards for packages per hour, keeps minimal downtime on machine and, monitors machine for sequence issues all while producing a quality package.
  • Communicates to inductors overall productivity and helps others understand what is needed to get maximum performance out of system.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves either by hand or with industrial power equipment.
  • Takes care of recycling scrap material appropriately as well as minimizing the amount of waste.
  • May Keep in contact with vendors and Management to ensure adequate packaging materials are on hand.
  • Records amount of units and type of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • May Work with the Procurement Coordinator to ensure active inserts are displayed in all locations in the packaging area of the Distribution Center.
  • May operate all industrial power equipment in order to assist and expedite loading or unloading materials and products
  • Maintains insert inventory in reserve locations and also in shipping department and ensures proper inserts are available at all stations and used properly in required packages.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
