The Creative Designer reports to the designated Creative Manager to complete assigned brand building, product demand creation and business ops projects. This individual should have a specialized experience with graphic design for internal and external corporate presentations.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual. Someone who is able to efficiently work from a creative brief to execute concepts across a variety of creative formats according to the objectives. The Creative Designer should have a very strong working knowledge of social media and digital marketing as well as a connection to our fashion and sports-inspired, young consumer base. A love for sneakers is also a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative execution of design projects allocated by the Creative Manager.
  • Work cross-functionally in close collaboration with internal GTM content and cross-functional marketing teams to execute key content initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, communicating with key stakeholders to ask questions and resolve issues in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist Creative Manager with project brainstorms, ideation and design execution
  • Present creative design concepts and ideas for approval, articulating your creative approach and strategy, while encouraging and accepting critiques from others in order to adjust and deliver a strategically sound piece.
  • Participate and assist in various content production stages
  • Create and assist with corporate presentations, photo shoot support, concept creation, product documents, file naming, file uploading, content performance analysis and various art direction to ensure brand standards are met.
  • Explore fresh approaches to visual communication by researching, communicating, and ing key marketing and design trends.

Qualifications

  • A degree in design or appropriate work experience with the ability to demonstrate skills through an established portfolio of work
  • Minimum 2 years of on-the-job design experience
  • Strong prioritization and time management are essential. Acknowledges that content capture creative and editing outside of regular business hours may occur to hit time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements and technologies
  • This individual must be calm under pressure and possess a strong collaborative spirit
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, e-mail and presentations)
  • Strong computer and design skills with intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Keynote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A strong understanding of social media and mobile-first design trends.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; special consideration given to those also skilled in Lightroom, AfterEffects, and other design programs
