Position Summary:
The Staff Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing therapy services, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner, to patients including assessment, treatment program planning, and implementation related documentation and communication. Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth.

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Masters Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
EXPERIENCE:
Experience desired, but not required
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
- Eligible for clinical fellowship year to earn ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or has earned ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Florida license or provisional license (CFY) as a Speech Language Pathologist from the Agency of Health Care Administration’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
- Current American Heart Association BLS card
