Position Summary
The Medical Surgical tech is responsible for assisting in the care of patients in a family centered care environment. S/he transcribes orders, maintains charts, manages inventory and performs any duties as assigned. All duties may be performed in any given shift. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

- Assists in Patient Care Functions
- Assists in Indirect Patient Care Functions and transport.
- Maintains a Clean and Safe Work Environment
- Performs secretarial duties as the need of the unit dictates.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- None
License
- CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT
Certifications:
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN), HEALTHY INTERVENTIONS
