Recycling Sorters

Adecco is assisting a local Waste Management facility, seeking Recycling Sorter's in Portland, ME. This is a temporary or temp-to-hire opportunity paying $20 / HR, plus the possibility of overtime!

Schedule - Monday - Friday - 6:00AM - 4:00PM

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Sorting Recycled material - able to identify and remove waste from recyclable products
• Maintain a high level of job safety
• Flexible with schedule and hours worked
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Able to give, take, and follow oral and written instruction
• Able to communicate clearly, able to establish and maintain effective working relations
• Able to participate in semi-skilled tasks - standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs

• Able to work as a team with a high degree of productivity
• Able to make quick and accurate decisions
• Able to solve problems
• Able to read, understand, and safety rules and regulations
• Able to wear respiratory PPE
• Able to recognize machine jams

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
