Description:As a Business Operations Director supporting the F-35 program you will be responsible for overseeing the F&BO operations within the Production Program Unit (PPU) Portfolio from the pursuit of new business to contract close-out. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

•Advising F-35 CFO and PPU Vice President on all Business Management matters associated within the portfolio.
•Interfacing with the various customer stakeholders on all PPU Business Management activities.
•Providing guidance to IPTs and Program Management concerning PPU Business Management issues.
•Executing day to day Business Management activities to ensure proper contract execution on all PPU programs including oversight for all contracts, estimating, FP&A, and program finance efforts.
•Influencing proposal development to ensure new business capture appropriately balances risk and profit margins.
•Maintaining appropriate controls and processes to ensure program success.
•Managing the proper functioning of an Earned Value Management System including monitoring, control of program budgets, estimates at completion, and achievement of Program Cost targets on all PPU programs.
•Ensuring all PPU Business Management deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
•Ensuring proper coordination, review and approval of Proposals, CSOWs, SSOWs, technical documents, PCOLs, and EV CDRLs for all PPU contracts.
•Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of financial information into the Aeronautics Financials.
•Actively supporting all audit and external reporting requirements for PPU contracts.

Basic Qualifications:
•Demonstrated Business Management and Cost Control experience
•Demonstrated experience in Staff Management & Development
•Demonstrated experience with government contracts, FAR and government acquisition process
•Proven ability to build effective relationships with various government agencies
•Proven ability to resolve issues in contentious situations with various customers including program management, government agencies and subcontractors
•Strategic Planning for future business
•Proven ability to communicate effectively with Senior Executive Management within LM, Suppliers and Large Government Customers
Desired Skills:
•Prior Program or Line of Business CFO experience
•Prior Director experience
•Prior Production experience
•Experience Working with International Customers
•Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
