JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Operations Performance provides insight, direction and feedback into Conifer clients’ monthly Revenue Cycle performance, Budget Variance and overall P&L results and works pro-actively to report budget issues, as well as offer recommendations for improvement. Other responsibilities include preparing, organizing and analyzing the monthly financials and reports for Conifer leaders as well as meet with the clients to ensure an understanding of the financials and areas of concern.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with client delivery/operations leaders to determine measurable performance metrics and oversee the design of reports and presentation materials that effectively and accurately measure and communicate account performance.
  • Ensure routine assessment of all metrics measured support internal and external factors that could affect performance.
  • Review and analyze operational performance related to cash collections and other A/R metrics.
  • Working closely with client delivery, assist in proactive identification of issues (i.e. revenue reclasses, etc.) and develop solutions to eliminate/minimize the problem.
  • Coordinate client month end reporting and impact analysis associated with settlements, and/or other issues that would affect.
  • Review Conifer’s gain share and incentive performance through the contract period to ensure accuracy.

  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle operations, process and challenges, from an outsourcing perspective and demonstrated experience in providing financial leadership in a health care/health system setting.

  • Versatile interpersonal and communication style with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive financial management experience including financial operations, strategic and financial planning, and budgeting in a hospital environment.
  • Consulting or outsourcing experience preferred

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $104,624.00 - $156,957.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
